Biography
I graduated with a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science at Oregon State University in 2019.
My research is focused on Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, and Computational Biology. I am also interested in studying programming languages and algorithms, in an attempt to write efficient code and understand algorithms in depth.
I did several research internships during my Ph.D. study. I was at Amazon Alexa AI Team, Baidu Silicon Valley AI Lab, Microsoft Research Asia, and HLTCOE at Johns Hopkins University.
In 2013, I obtained my B.S in Computer Science from Peking University, China. Then, I spent two years at the Computer Science Department in the Graduate Center - CUNY as a Ph.D. student, before transferring to Oregon State University.
